Low-intensity (PEMF) to high-intensity applications (PMS)

The difference between classic low-intensity QRS magnetic field therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field / PEMF) and pulsed QRS magnetic stimulation (Pulsed Magnetic Stimulation / PMS) respectively the Transpelvine Magnetic Stimulation (TPM) lies on the one hand in the intensity of the magnetic field and the frequencies used, and on the other in the purpose of therapy.

Put simply, in low-intensity QRS magnetic field therapy (PEMF), cells in the body are stimulated. In high-intensity QRS magnetic stimulation (PMS), muscle fiber cells are stimulated.

Entirely new form of musculature stimulation (PMS)

The QRS therapy device, which is able to perform this musculature-stimulating training, is the QRS 1010 Pelvicenter. With this system, an entirely new form of pelvic floor training (TPM) becomes possible. The magnetic field generated stimulates the nerves of the muscle fibers. This causes the muscle fibers located in the magnetic field to contract.

During the signal sequence of 4 to 8 seconds, the musculature located in the magnetic field is tensed and then relaxed again during the signal pause, which is also 4 to 8 seconds. This is more effective than active musculature training, e.g. with classic pelvic floor exercises.

The TPM method is used to treat symptoms of a weakened pelvic floor and buttock area due to muscular causes, as well as the accompanying negative consequences. The PMS therapy method is not intended to discredit the effectiveness of classic pelvic floor exercises. However, TPM is an important option for persons who are not able to actively and independently perform conventional, physiotherapeutic pelvic floor exercises.

Apart from the high effectiveness of this therapy, the primary advantage of QRS TPM therapy is the high patient compliance rate. This contrasts with conventional pelvic floor training, for which high dropout rates are a daily occurrence.

With the TPM method, the attending therapist or doctor is in control of the success of the treatment without having to depend on the patient’s willingness to cooperate. Detrimental side effects are not known. Muscle cramps may result from initial settings that are too high.

Positive side effects include an improvement in coordination abilities in the buttock area as well as an improvement in any existing back pain in the lumbar vertebrae region. A number of female patients have reported a tightening of the buttocks and an improvement in their cellulite contours.

Classic pulsed QRS magnetic field therapy (PEMF)

Contrary to the general assumption that the pulsed magnetic field alone is responsible for the positive effect, a closer look reveals a different story in the case of QRS: The magnetic field is secondary; it serves primarily as a transmitter. The primary effect is a different one: The unique ion transport phenomenon.

Magnetic field and ion transport

QRS is the only magnetic field device manufacturer which uses the magnetic field to facilitate ion transport. As a result, this means that low-intensity QRS magnetic field therapy not only generates a high-quality, natural magnetic field, but also that the patented, unique QRS frequency shapes are able to intensify ion transport.

Put simply, ion transport refers to the exchange of cell nutrients via the cell membrane into the cell, and the removal of waste materials from out of the body’s cells.

This promotes the supply of cell nutrients, which in turn stimulates and improves cell metabolism overall. Doing so increases the voltage potential of a cell. One other resulting effect is a significant increase in the oxygen content of the blood.

Hence, it is plausible that improved cell nutrient provision, stimulated metabolism, and higher cell voltage are able to significantly promote healing in the body.

QRS is electrosmog-free

The QRS therapy devices QRS 101 and QRS 310 are the only devices in the magnetic field therapy market which possess an “electrosmog killer frequency”. Hence, during the QRS therapy, users are located in an electrosmog-free field, similar to a Faraday cage.

QRS is the original

Due to its therapeutic properties and a response rate of over 60%, low-intensity QRS magnetic field therapy has been one of the most successful magnetic field therapies to date since its inception. Over the past 20 years, many have attempted to copy QRS, but without success so far. QRS is and remains the original.

In summary, low-intensity QRS magnetic field therapy with the QRS 101 Home System and with the QRS 310 Doctor System are used to treat pain, and for many conditions, often brings success without additional pharmacological therapy.

QRS assists both with cell vitalization and cell metabolism via targeted ion transport. The overall metabolism is activated, immune defenses stabilized, and cell regeneration improved, resulting in the strengthening of weakened body functions in a natural fashion.

Since 1993, several hundred thousand devices with QRS technology have been and are currently in use to provide healthcare. International research and user logs have not identified any detrimental side effects to date.
